Description

Location: NC Museum of Natural Sciences Cost: Free

NC’s largest sustainability festival celebrates the many resources and inspirations for sustainable living in the triangle. Key activities include an e-cycling drive through where you can drop off your old electronics, Bicycle Blenders, Urban Tumbleweed Behemoth Bowling and the Repurposed Cardboard Kingdom. Eco-smart products will be available at the Green Bazaar, as well as great values at the Burt’s Bees tent sale. Live music will be provided by Chatham County Line, the Countdown Quartet, and the Junkman with his 100% recycled trash instruments. Food will be available from Green Planet Catering and various local food trucks. And it’s a green event, so bring your water bottles and reusable bags—we’ll be striving to have a zero-waste-to-landfill event!
